Pokemon Black and White (New Pokemon)

So now we know what the 5th gen of Pokemon will be called. They are out in Japan in Autumn this year are will supposedly bring a "revolution" to the franchise by making it almost 3D like. So, it seems these games have been in development for a long time if they are releasing in Japan this soon. I don't understand why they didn't just wait for the 3DS to release a 3D Pokemon game.... It makes more sense. It doesn't look that much better to me but we'll have to wait and see how things turn out.


New Pokemon:
More new Pokemon have been revealed today, the 2 new legendary for each version seen here.

I'm glad to see the exploration is in full 3D this time around (forgot if it was like that in Diamond/Pearl). At least the camera angles are different. And I don't mind the battles with 2D sprites.

Hopefully they'll call the remakes PKMN BlackerThanBlack and WhiterThanWhite!

Can't wait to see how horrible and uninspired the new pokemon are...

It really could be. FireRed/LeafGreen are still the best games imo. HG/SS are second. 3rd/4th generations are pretty uninspired. Basically the best pokemon are the first two and their remakes...which is kinda sad but they are damn good.

I still don't expect this to be too different but it can actually be really damn good this time around.

I've lost faith in Pokemon with the release of Ruby and Sapphire already. They're still good, just not anything like Red/Blue or dare I say Gold/Silver.

I thought Gold/Silver and their remakes were excellent.
