^^ Lol really? I thought all the 3DS was more of the same...

WiiU I am on the fence... it needs a good price and they need to show that is more than a mashed up Wii and DS... and mostly it needs easy piracy like the Wii

The concept definitely has potential but my fear is that they will taunt a revolution in gameplay but then it will fall short like the Wii did... getting decent 3rd party support is definitely a step into the right direction... but will it really gain good support till MS and Sony bring new hardware and 3rd parties switch to better hardware again? and I fail to see how core 3rd party games (or core games in general) will really profit from the controller... but that is all yet to be seen...

What pissed me off a bit is that they teased a HD Zelda before the full Wii Zelda is even out... thats just low Nintendo... stop luring your loyal oldschool fans into your gingerbread house with a trail of Zelda breadcrumbs...

Pretty interesting stuffs. I hope it is not sony style expensive...

btw dude, that zelda might have been a tech demo. they did that for the GC as well. when the GC was announced they played a video of Ganon and Link crossing swords. it was a OoT style of art too, so that got everyone a-buzz back in the day... then WW is announced and everyone hates on it at first, then it turns out to be one of the better games of late from Zelda.... go figure...

Anyway, that spider better be just a tech demo... it better be...

I hope its all spiders ... and yeah at this point anything they show is a early demo at best (I was little disappointed that they didn't really have any gameplay for anything... or even the console and some specs... I think this might have been bit early to show)... anyway they did tease us with what a full HD Zelda could look like (whether that is what the final product will look like or not) and teasing us with the Zelda for the next console when we don't even have the one for this console (after almost 5 years)... thats pretty low and again doing what they have been doing far to much with the Wii... promising great stuff in the future but then it all comes to late to little...

I can agree with that, i haven't been excited about a game in a while. That's a shame... But i haven't really been looking for games much either.
It could help if i had more than just the Wii and a PC though...
It could also help if there was real football so i didn't have to play madden to get some football action.

i will purchase a PS3 if you give me the money to do so.

I don't know if there were any games on the PS3 exclusive side that i was excited about... i can't recall any on the 360... probably are on both. but both networks are .... not a great for me. one is haxxored all the time, and the other rapes your wallet every month...

WiiU will probably get all the good PS360 games anyway, so i will get one of those when it launches and play them there.

WiiU is over a year away and probably expensive, the PS3 will most likely get a price cut sometime this year. As far as the PSN hacking goes.....it was a one time deal. Get one and use it to play games and as a bluray player.

PSN Hacking.... it was a 2 time deal....

After securing it once, they got hacked again. no small amount of data was lost... but it wasn't nearly as big.

Nintendo's conference was going good until they showed off the "new controller". I don't want to buy a console to play it on a 6" screen. Why not just release a handheld like that to compete with the iPad instead of going the 3DS route... The whole one controller per console thing makes things even worse. Now if you are playing with anyone else they will feel left out using the old wiimotes. Naming it Wii U may also be a disadvantage. People will think it is just a different version of the wii with a new controller just like they thought the 3DS was a new DS... I will buy the Wii U in 5 years when the next Smash Bros game comes out.
