Can anyone help me with a drawing?

Hey guys! I've been working on a little character for a friend's restaurant/ice cream shop, and he asked me if it was possible to add some colors on my drawing. Here it is (it's a long chef's hat):



I was thinking about coloring it via Photoshop or some program like that, but I'm one big noob when it comes to do that! Is anyone good enough with those programs? I know the pictures come out clean and nice with them, so that's why I don't want to use "normal people" coloring, if you know what I mean.

The job is simple: add 6 colors anywhere. He said 6 because he wants to do shirts with this, and 6 is the max amount of color the t-shirt "thingy" can accept.

I was thinking about giving a few details of what it should look like:
- The arms should be different from the hands (they're supposed to be gloves);
- The legs and feet could have the same color as the gloves;
- The eyebrows could have the same color as the gloves/legs and feet;
- The little clothing can be white as well, or same color as all three things above.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Do you have photo shop? If not you should get it.....

Nope, I don't. Ever since my Zelda website went down 5-6 years ago, I never touched programs like these ever again, so looking at tutorials about all the new features would take a while!

You could probably save a color with that knowledge.

Do the white and black count as a color?

Nope. It should be OK to use them as you want.

That should help a bit.

I think It would have been a little better to outline in marker to be able to do it right.

Oh, that's nice skeezer! I really like the color layer only stuff. If my friend wants to change any color, then I can easily do it myself. Cool beans!

And yeah, I don't have a marker at my new apartment. I think I can use MS Paint to do the black outlines though. I'll show you the final version ASAP!

i will see what i can do

oky so i did a couple up, the hard part was inking some lines in so that i can swap colors on teh fly

but here is the first one



i did up six colors and left his limbs white

the next one i colored is gloves the same as the apron and gave hims some plain shoes to match to ad just a little more color

but if want any colors changed just let me know and i cant get it quick

Pretty cool idea with the black outlines and crazy colors! I'm sure he can take many versions of the character. =P

I'll show you what I was able to do with MS Paint and I'll try to keep the colors you choose. I'll be able to show him at least 4 versions now!

A lot of those look really good! Nice! I like Skeezer's the best though.

LAST REQUEST!

Does anyone have any cool fonts for a logo? I need to write "La Crème de la Crème 2004" with 2004 smaller than La Crème de la Crème though. It needs to be done in an interesting way on top of the character, but I can't find anything that looks good. :/

They decided to go with skeezer's model by the way.

If all else fails, I guess I could always hand draw it! xD
