Headaches?

Anyone here get headaches? Migraines?

I've had a pretty bad one all day....it's just a good thing it was my day off.

So how often do you get them...and what's your miracle cure?

And for the non-native speakers....how do you say headache in your language?

I never get headaches... not even when I drink... I´m also don´t get brain freeze... my head is pretty advanced...

Well I have them usually when Im to tired. Luckily I rarely have one, but when I do, a good sleep or a jog helps me a lot

Oh, and in romanian they say " durere de cap" and in hungarian " fejfajas "

One thing that I have noticed is that I get them when the barometric pressure changes rapidly. Strangely enough, I woke up this morning to rain.

Many people have that... I know that most of my family members do

almost every day, i have cronic migraine, actualy have to take a prescription for them, its funny but b/c of them i have a high pain tolerance....i mean compared to having your head smashed in by a hammer small things just dont hurt anymore

also try sex, it helps with almost everything, and the increased blood flow to other areas tends to take away some of the throb in the headd

Are you using Imitrex?

No it’s a beta blocker (what ever that is) called metropropol, or at least that is how it sounds, not sure about the spelling

I've never tried any of the prescription stuff...but my dad uses Imitrex. I've just never felt like I've had a bad enough condition to warrant going through that process.

But if they start getting as bad as theat one a few days ago I'll have no choice.

Do animals get headaches?

I think they can

Also don’t blow it off, I still get headaches but it is no where near as bad, I used to get one everyday and some were so bad I would be vomiting and unable to do anything but stay in bed and hurt

Now I only get a bad one maybe once a month and little ones every once in a while, its awesome, so I mean if you can get rid of them

I dont suffer form those... But If I have one rarely, I just take acetaminofen.

up until last year my wife had never had one, she was suffering from the flu and was complaining to time about her head and neck hurting, i told her she had a headache and she asked what that was

Thats a pretty common drug here... I think you can get it whitout prescription Or at least thats the case in Romania... I only know this because my mom is a medic and my grandmother uses that

it works so i will not complain, my wife is the one who finally talked me into going to the doc

Does any one trully know the feeling of a head ache..I mean many different people can feel many sorts of pains and call it a "headache"
