We have a new portal page



Here the you can access/see IGN, VGC, Boxofficemojo all at once. The idea is its a quick refference for the headlines accross the board. That said this is still just a trial so to speak. So be sure to tell me your thoughts on the page as it may or may not stay based on response.

Nice, I can surf VGC and IGN in the same page! Works fine for me (heck, it even automatically logged me in VGC and IGN, and the hot topics in VGC were red).

Are those sites definitive or will more/different will be added?

Only thing I don't personally like is the horizontal scrolling that's on the bottom of each website. But other than that, it's all good!

Nothing is set in stone. So different sites can be added or removed. Just kinda testing outright now to see how you guy like it.

Also I think you're missing another important website.

That could be interesting, I think it would crash the browser, if you opened the same page with the embeded site so it would try to load out to infiniti of that page, hell it might even crash the computer. Might be fun to try in a destrucive way.

Nice, i can use it with no problems, but i think it could be better with the option of going there, because if you enter in a crappy computer it may crash.

I like this too, it could be very handy later. Is there any way to personalize it? I don't use IGN or the movie one.... but could use another one of my choosing...

but this is a nice new feature.

I wonder if we can use it to incorporate the portal, the forum, and the chat all on one page.

List the websites you want and I will make it so you can custimize the area but I need a list.

@coon it can be done but it will cause load/stability issues for people with lower spec computers. But I will be able to make it so you can have that option.

Just everyone needs to tell me what site they want

OK so now I have it set up so you can quick link to a few places and the middle box has an adress bar of sorts. At the bottom is the chat.

The chat has to be loaded if you want it up and the thrid frame is also empty until altered.

I'm having a problem, whenever I type any url in the address bar embedded, I get a 404 and I'm redirected to NS homepage

Well thats because you have to type "http://"
also don't hit enter click the button.
