there was lotsa love and fighting as usual.. but one more than the other this year.

I was good, the reunion with the family was great, we laughed a lot, we burned a "farolito" like always (at least one flew), the food was OK, the desserts were great (specially the cheese cake). And there were peanuts, lots of peanuts!

Bad points: My aunt forgot to buy almonds and my father forgot to bring the ones we had, so no almonds, no "ooooohh" presents, and the fireworks in the neighborhood were kinda lame, they used to be great. I guess we can thank the crysis

My Christmas was a 9.2/10. I made out like a bandit and it was fun! I gave lots of gifts and got a lot of gifts too! ^_^ 4 Games! Okami, MKWii, Wii Music, and Animal Crossing:CF! And $100 to buy more games with or not... Some people don't like to buy games for Christmas... ^_^

But I had a lot of fun and very good times. I also got some foam swords and can beat the crap out of my brother (who got them for me) and my friends! I had a blast fighting him with those. Overall everybody had to carry their new gifts out in a Swag Bag. It was great.

I guess the Wii now brings the score to a 8.9/10 Not quiet a 9 yet.

So, did you get it, finally?

Oh, well why can't you get a Wii, they aren't expensive, are they? And the games, aren't 60 dollars.

Yes, they are quite expensive...600 dollars (what it costs here) may be "a bit expensive" in the US, but here is simply a very huge amount of money, I don't know exactly how much my dad earns monthly, but I estimate it to be around 2000 pesos (and I can't really complain about how much he earns, not a lot, but certainly not little, right to put us in the middle class), that's approx 630 dollars, so you see, it would be one entire month of salary.

Yeah, of course I can use my special way of getting games...I'm not factoring game cost in the Wii (luckily, if I got original games that would be 100 dollars per game, not that I'd be planning to). But yeah, a Wii here is around 550-600 dollars...and that's not counting an extra Wiimote and Nunchuk I'd probably need...and a Classic Controller/GC controlller...you might wanna add 150 dollars to it.
That's a third world country for ya.

Of course, that leaves me with zero guilt when I use my "special ways of getting games"

I will put it a 7, being with the family is nice but this meeting was as nice as others, and i didn't really get many present but overall was good.
