Favorite Star Wars Movie?

Which was your favorite, and don't say you can't chose or have never watched them... If you haven't watched them go do it now, and then answer!

I don't know why, but Empire Strikes Back was always my favorite. The only redeemable prequel was #3, and it was totally predictable.

Empire Strikes Back is my fave, just ahead of A New Hope and Return of the Jedi.

I refuse to acknowledge the prequels, as far as I am concerned, they NEVER, EVER happend, okay!

While they are not as good as the originals they are still fantastic movies. Simply because Darth Maul/ General Grievous are awesome, and because of the fantastic visuals. Plus, we get to see Yoda do his thing.

I'll agree with Empire Strikes Back.
It was the darkest.

General Grievous was over hyped and under played. He was not that great of a fighter, or character.

okay, this is why only people who watch other sci-fi are true geeks, no-one with any appreciation of the genre likes the new films, they are fuddy duddy pretentious crap designed to make money and have awful plots, abysmal characters and thats not even to mention the woeful acting.

Good, because I don't consider myself a geek.

I'd say that Episode 1 was the best just because of pod racing... but Jar Jar drags it down. He also does it for 2 and 3.

So i'd have to say my favorite is Return of the Jedi.

Empire Strikes Back used to be my least favorite of the originals... I guess cause it was pretty dark compared to the others and the story was sorta incomplete... now I like it all the more though... I'd still say a new hope is my favorite cause the story is so very well rounded... Return of the Jedi is just a little to much with the ewoks and stuff...

Oh and while darth maul and maybe also general grievous may look cool and flashy at first but they have absolutely no character value whatsoever... the other jedi look like a bunsh of morons who don't know whats going on (only Samuel L. Jackson manages to look a little cool but its to little to late)... the emperor comes of as some weird pedo... and everyone says they wanted to finally see yoda fight... but the hole point of yoda was that in ep V when luke was looking for him everyone expected some mighty warrior but instead the great master was a weird little green guy... which showed that physical power does not make you truly powerful... but all that got ruined when they showed that once push came to shove yoda had to grab a sword like everyone else and his physical disadvantage was in fact a issue... also why the hell did they have to make the force some weird microscopic lifeforms and not leave it something mystic ??? what the hell did that contribute to the new movies ?... and I don't even have to about the guy who played anakin and jarjar...

Really, though, I guess I'll go with the first one.

Episode I or Episode III. Pod racing was awesome and the Jedi massacre was also great. So I can't really decide. Ep II was shit and the original trilogy were cool but didn't have any stand out moment for me.

OMG.... I just heard Lucas is dryhumping StarWars into theaters again... IN 3D... at least have the decency to cover up the classics with enough CGI so we don't have to see them at all... also I wonder who will shoot first this time ? I bet they will ad a completely new character who shoots first this time

^^ 2012 with and additional scene where luke makes his green lightsaber in Return of Jedi... was announced a few weeks ago... sadly it will only be the digitally remastered versions... they say its easier to get those into full HD... but we all know they will just release a ultimate classic blueray edition with original releases later on to make more cash...
