^^ Take good shoes... if your going to stay at the Y its really cheap and at a great location... but you have to share a bathroom in the hall, they are kind of dirty... and the rooms are very small but completly ok... just don´t leave any open food around... we had ants comming out of the heater...

Fun pics. That last one is of a "Tanuki". It is a Japanese raccoon dog. Strange looking but classical in Japanese culture.
"They have been part of Japanese folklore since ancient times. The legendary tanuki is reputed to be mischievous and jolly, a master of disguise and shapeshifting, but somewhat gullible and absent-minded."

Anyway... I also thought the Brooklyn Bridge was a bit bigger... but I haven't been there myself.

Yeah subway was pretty cool... lots of streetperformers and a few really weird people... one time some guys brakedanced in the subway... that was pretty amazing considering the little space...
