Billy Mays pronounced dead

Today he died, at age 50. This makes me sad. I will miss his commercials.

They have been showing his commercials all day on tv, he will be missed and remembered.

I never did like his personality after watching "Pitchmen".
But all the same, Rest in Peace Billy Mays a lot of people will truly miss you.

It would be the same as if I posted a well known argentinian. Like, for example, last week Fernando Peña died, he was really well known. Doubt any of you even heard of him

Billy Mays is pretty much a household name when it comes to infomercials here in the states. Which is why his death warranted a front page story on Yahoo.com.
I honestly didn't even know who Fawcett is, that is until I read the news that she's dead.
Just because I grouped them together doesn't mean they're equally famous. Though they are all "well known".

This one surprised me more than Michael's death

REST IN PEACE BILLY MAYS. I PROBABLY WON'T MISS YOUR COMMERCIALS THOUGH.

Billy Mays contributed something that nobody else will ever be able to duplicate, nor to fill the gap now that he's missing. His death was the most significant loss we've had in the past few days, IMO.

i wonder what they are going to do with all of his commercials..b/c he has like 15 that are still airing

If he wasn't high profile he wouldn't have threads created for him and all this internet attention over his death. But after all, it doesn't matter. He was an overall nice guy and gave us many laughs with his commercials
