Zexen's Birthday Present!!!

Well Zexen's birthday will be coming up at the end of the month and a few of us have decided to do something special and try to get him a next generation console. Many of us have known him for over a year and his has become a good friend to many. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZEXEN!!

Now I should note that this is not the norm nor will it become the norm for birthdays around here. This is not a site thing but rather a gift to a friend from his friends who have been thinking about doing this for a while.

So here is how we are doing this.

1st don't post how much you've given or if you have.

OK we are giving the money to him through paypal. It is rather simple

If you have an account sign in 1st.

1 - go to https://www.paypal.com and click "send money/send money online"
2 - send to "nravasi@fibertel.com.ar" and you should probably just leave it on "service" for payment type (cash advance may include fees from your credit card) Enter the amount of money.
3 - Fill the info if you don't have a paypal account.
4 - DONE!

We will check in later in the week and see where we are at.

So, how much is a good ammount to contribute? We're kinda short of money here...

The economy is bad, no money to spare. Even though I have a lot.

I will if i find it a reasonable ammount. As of now i ordered online:

An arcade stick - R$ 170
Two dogtags of the soviet navy - R$ 40
Nintendo Wii power source - R$ 70
2 frisbees (don't ask) - $40

Plus i'm trying to save for my new guitar (you can see i'm failing hard) but zex is a good friend of mine and i will donate if i can make a difference

Me too, I think I can find some extra moneys to help out zex, just one question, is he free to choose the system he buys?

EDIT: Well, scratch that, i don't think a PS3 will work for him as he is a proud pirate

I don't think he will like a Xbox, not sure about the Wii... But i guess he would get the PSP

Of course, the money we provide will also weigh on the choice

We decided against the surprise method as it involved secrets and money, plus the money would be taxed twice going through a middle man (paypal transfer fee).

How much is a good amount?

Well every little bit helps, so don't think you contribution no matter how small doesn't help.

Well you would transfer the money in your account to his. Thus allowing him to spend the money you gave him.

I don't think i'll be able to help, i couldn't even convince my parents to get me 1000 wii points, i don't see why would they allow me to do this..

Raising another $20 alone would go a long way.

So if you want to help out his birthday is coming up very soon and 4 people at $5 gets another $20
