Skeezer's Application to become an Admin here on NS.

Well, most of you already know I've been wanting to become an admin here for a while now. Not really to gain any sort of power over the rest of us but to get a little recognition for the 3 years I've been here. You guys can all tell that I've been one of the most active members both on the forum and on the chat. Many have come and left, but I remain true to NS! [not trying to sound cheesy] So if you guys give me the opportunity to become an admin I will try harder to help out our little corner of the internet. I believe I've done a lot for the site over the 3 years I've been here, but maybe that wasn't enough to make me an admin, so I propose some ideas of the things I can do starting today:

-moderate the forum
-try to recover lost members [by their own free will, I won't blackmail em or anything]
-update our family tree
-make weekly polls on interesting subjects
-make video of the week threads
-keep order in our chat while our other admins are away or idle
-I had the idea that sometime in the future we could revive "anime night" with our members, I don't know if it would work out or if we have enough members willing to participate and actually show up, but we I can try.
-Think of new ideas to make nschat a bit more interesting, for instance I proposed a skype chat for our members that have the ability to get on and talk/type.
-Make a new banner for the site, though I don't know if luin has the ability to change it.
-be in charge of inviting new members, having some cool new members is always nice.


In the end I'll try to come up with the best ideas to make sure our members keep coming back, not only will I come up with them I will also take action and actually see them through. Ideas from our regular members will be taken into account as well. I want to make sure there are reasons for us to come back other then habit or boredom.

I know I haven't been as active as of late, but I agree with what you are saying. We need new ideas, new features, and most importantly new members! We just need a reason for everyone to stick around and visit regularly. So, yeah, I think new idea from a new admin may be a good thing. This is entirely up to Kenzo to decide though as it's his site after all.

On another note. I vote we get rid of the contributors group all together as the only active members of that said group are all admins anyways.

That's because we were all stripped of our powers along time ago. There was no point in being a contributor when people complained to you and you could literally do nothing.
